Tis the Season for giving and giving and giving...

I love Christmas for so many reasons, but my favorite part is shopping and buying gifts for my friends and family.  I'm already a shopaholic, and I already like to give, but Christmas is a great excuse to put both together.  I usually overspend, and overbuy, and this year is no different.  Starting my shopping early just means that I will buy twice as much and find more than one "perfect gift" for each person.  I did some unique gift buying on One Kings Lane website this year, and I was blown away when they sent me a gift when my packages arrived! If you haven't checked them out yet, do it now, even if you're just window shopping!  Another great personal gift I found is here, love this and got it for a friend!  Of course, all my family is getting pictures of my kiddies, what could be a better gift than that! Every year I have a difficult time shopping for Scott, I even told him that we could forgo getting each other gifts this year, but he didn't go for it, so I'm hoping that I'll figure it out soon. This is what I know he really wants but he would $#*! a brick if I bought it for him!  1 year olds are very hard to buy for, and 3 year olds that have everything are even harder, so I'm just leaving it up to Santa this year ; )

Here are some pictures from Ellie's first time riding her dirt bike. We all had a lot of fun, but she didn't want it to end!

  1. I looooove the pictures of Ellie on her dirtbike! My husband wants to get one for Addison so bad but I think he has another year or so until he is ready! :) I love that they come with training wheels now. I have a picture of Addison on a dirtbike at the dealer, I will have to post it. How did she do? Did Scott ride with her the whole time or could she do it by herself?
I know what you mean about Christmas shopping...it is hard. the kids made out Christmas lists then I finished up my shopping and of course they mention things that weren't on the list, that is always the case!!
I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

  4. Karyn, I'm sorry I should have responded immediately after I read this... I forgot. She loved it, never wanted to get off. She said she wanted to do it by herself( like everything a three yr old says!) but she wasn't able to steer, so that didn't last long. It goes really slow, so it's not scary at all. Hope your family had a wonderful Christmas!
